EACS president discusses 2013 conference on HIV

Manuel Battegay, MD, president of the European AIDS Clinical Society, mentions several highlights from the 14th European AIDS Conference, which runs Oct. 16 to 19. Over 800 abstracts have been submitted for presentation at the conference, and a special emphasis is being placed on comorbidities and adverse drug reactions in HIV treatment. Later in the week, EACS will roll out new guidelines for the treatment of HIV, and a mobile application for these guidelines is now available to download through iTunes and Google Play.
